b/w - All in Vain
Here's the 1st of 2 releases (the 2nd was released on "rewind records" a few months later, also in 1980)
All (most! - not quite all yet) "new wave related" release date information can be found at the worthless trash website)
It's damn fine mod/punk from (I'm led to believe) South London ("caveman records" was Bath/Bristol based though)
- If Anyone knows any better leave a comment -
Mic Wayland (Voc)
Kevin Peters (guitar)
Peter Fenton (guitar)
Brian Early (bass)
Rory Lyons (drums)

Is this the same 'Jump' who released 'Love In The Park' c/w 'Tomorrow's Mine'? I prefer this one to that.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, it is them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great band The Jump truly were! Both singles were simply BRILLIANT
ReplyDeletesuperb 45 shake up is the winner here.tomorrows mine is also a great 45
ReplyDeleteGreat single!!!!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy your blog and love the music you post here. I also have three requests(one probably fairly easy, the others harder):
Devrons- Sindy's Got An Action Man/No more tears 7'' , Alternative British Army -The killer was a cop 7'' from 1980 and finally Miss Kate -Ebony eyes/I love you 7'' from '79.
Anyway, keep up this good work.
Thanks a lot,
regards
