Here's another Beatles fixated band (even covering a Lennon / McCartney song )

They came from either Spratton or Rushden in the Northampton area and were (read the comments below!)

Martyn Smith (voc)
Steve Andrews (Guitar, voc)
Wilby Meadows (Guitar, organ, voc)
Terry Woods (bass, voc)
Bob Parker (drums)

There's a wealth of info on the band over at Bored teenagers (even showing the mini poster that came with most of the 45's - not mine though!)

    Hi, just wanted to let you know that we came from Rushden, Northants and that the record has been re-released (after 30 years) in Japan on 1977 records, it is also available from Detour Records in the UK. I'm pleased to say that all band members are alive and well and may get together for a few gigs in the near future to celebrate the re-release. Thanks for giving us a mention. We've waited a long time for a small slice of fame.

      I watched you many times at Blysworth and the Romany. I went to the White Heart in London to watch you. I was in the RAF and would come home to Northampton on my 1958 Lambretta especially if I knew you were playing that weekend. Happy days
