Just another site that's giving you hard to find music

A Place To Find Some Rarer Tunes (Mod, PowerPop, Punk, Ska) ripped from my vinyl collection. If it sounds good I'll post it. The idea being that now you know about them, you can seek them out! If anyone is unhappy about any of these posts please contact me & I will take them off.

Joyride - Goodbye (1980)

b/w - Something special

Another 45 that I knew nothing about until I received the comment below. Both sides are good Mod / powerpop, with the B side being the better to my taste.

The 45 was recorded at Britannia Row Studios, Islington in the first months of 1980 by

Mark Hudson (Voc)
Gary Perry (Guitar Voc)
Graham Reynolds (Guitar Voc)
Martin Fox (Bass)
Rob Stevens (Drums)

The Lyrics were by Keith Boulton /Gary Perry & Graham Reynolds & the bands short lifespan ran from mid 1979 to the end of '80.

  1. This was recorded at Britannia Row Studios, Islington in Jan/Feb 1980. Keith Boulton wrote all the lyrics for the band, Gary Perry and Graham Reynolds were the main song writers/guitarists/backing vocalists, Mark Hudson was lead singer, Martin Fox was on bass and Rob Stevens on drums.
The band formed in mid 1979 and split up near the end of 1980.

  3. I used to Roadie and do lightshows for them, around Enfield and Tottenham they did go further afield than that but not on nights when I was working for them.
