Just another site that's giving you hard to find music

A Place To Find Some Rarer Tunes (Mod, PowerPop, Punk, Ska) ripped from my vinyl collection. If it sounds good I'll post it. The idea being that now you know about them, you can seek them out! If anyone is unhappy about any of these posts please contact me & I will take them off.

The Three Wise Men - Thanks For Chrismas (1983)

b/w - Countdown To Christmas Party Time

I think a lot of you will know which famous "New wave" group this was in disguise.

The Virgin Press release (Included in the download) decided to give this clue..

On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me a partridge in a pear tree......

I'll leave it at that
(If you really can't get it, I'll tell you in a couple of days! - unless anyone wants to guess in the comments)

  2. I didn't get the hint at all until I listened to it and heard none other than XTC. A group known for alter-egos...the hip-hop B-side really blew me away. Do I win a request? I'd love to hear either of the Clint Small EPs on AuGoGo (he joined Little Murders right so I'm guessing they sound like them). Crysbas Ond I'm curious about (on Sain Cyf). 1st Transmitters (Party/0.5 Alive)? I also forgot to thank you for posting the Warm for me. I love it, but I'm not surprised they never went Top 10! I'll be playing your Xmas mix at my family parties the next two days, so thank for spreadin' the cheer, sir!

  3. Hi Brian - Well done It is indeed XTC

The Clint Small 45's don't really sound like "Little Murders" but I'll post them

I have both the Crysbas 45's (I don't think they did anymore!) & yes to the Transmitters
