Sounds & Scans
Hello, I was in sidewinder, a four piece from Clevedon and Bristol. Steve Treble on guitar, keys and vocals, me Damian Pope on guitar/vocals, Ian(Charlie) Butler on Bass and Tim Harris on drums. My brother Jon managed the band, and between us we wrote the songs.
ReplyDeleteIt was recorded in Right Track studios in Redland. We gigged regularly around Bristol and surrounding areas, played the granary supporting an American band called Y&T (Yesterday and Today). We wrote several other songs as well and Im made up to see comments about the record. We sold very few and most ended up in my brothers attic although I still have some copies.
As a footnote; according to Al Read's "The Granary Club" book the Y&T gig was Thursday 10th June 1982.
