One of the original D.I.Y. monsters! I remember looking for this when I was in high school in the early '90s. Had it on tape for years. This rip sounds better and clearer than I've ever heard it...I can actually make out the violin now. Didn't know they were from Stoke...and that ain't no joke! Definitely bridges the gap between street-punk/Oi! and D.I.Y./artschool punk...especially "Glandular Angela". Music Hall is the ultimate aesthetic!
ReplyDeleteThanks - I'm not sure my rips are that great, but they are good enough!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure that most of the band were from further south than Stoke & just moved there to Study.
I was from Bournemouth (Rich Potter) - now in Scotland and still playing; Jules was from Swindon and is also now in Scotland and still playing. Dudley was from London and live in Greece (non-music); Chris form East Anglia (non-music) and I can't remember where Hans came form....
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info Rich - appreiciated!!
