A wild guess would be Possibly Edinburgh based due to singing about the Leith riverway.

Sorry no download, I've been asked to take it down as it's going to get a re-release. Hopefully John will leave a comment when this happens so you know where to source it from..
If they were Edinburgh based it's something that passed me by at the time and I can't say I've seen a copy locally any later either. There's currently a copy on eBay for silly money. Just my luck I'm too late to hear the download to see if it matches the hype.
ReplyDeleteI'm in layout for a discography of Scotland's punk and new wave records and tapes (1977–84). I haven't run into this one, but there's always another record... Would love to know more if anybody out there has information about this record, the label, Mr Sutcliffe, or Mr Jones.
