This did not get a UK release but was put out simultaneously in France [Disc' AZ International ‎– AZ/1 748] & Germany [Strand ‎– 6.12891] (Probably due to their constant Touring of Northern Europe)

In '81 the band's promoter/manager Dave Leaper introduced the band to Ian J Cole as the they were looking for a keyboard player to 'fill out their sound'
An audition was held at New Earswick village church hall. 1 month later and they were entering Fairview recording studio in Hull for 2 days recording of the LP.
5 months later & 1 mini tour of the working mens clubs, Ian was fired

Cool 60's styled Powerpop EP from this Sydney based (Covers) band (1976-78) post-humously released through Greg Shaw's Bomp/Voxx Records

Lee Emmett, Felix Maslin and Bud Mangion first joined forces in 1974 as Jasper, who issued one 45 [Lola], in early 1976 before calling it a day. (The other member being Steve Hall - Guitar)
The 3 then became Punkz with the addition of Robin Jackson (original lead guitarist with Hush) and Randy Hall, who was quickly replaced by Ray Goodwin (ex-Dragon, John Paul Young and the All Stars).
Punkz came to the attention of Ol'55 manager, pop guru Glenn A. Baker, who helped mould their 1960s revivalist image. With Mushroom Records issuing the singles `Anyway You Want It' and `Take Me for What I'm Worth' Unfortunately though, the band's name was to count against them.
[Being named after the "Nuggets" US 60's punk movement, instead they found themselves being  compared to the punk bands in the UK with whom they had nothing in common. The disconnect between the band's name and their image effectively doomed their records to the deletion racks.]
Goodwin left soon after and the band responded by changing its name to Cheek.
A cover of the Mighty Avengers’ "So Much In Love" was Cheek’s debut single for Mushroom in  December 77. Around this time they also began recording an album, with the addition of Troy Richards on keyboards and guitar.
Unfortunately the album was never finished, and their final single, the Rubinoos' "Leave My Heart Alone", was again unsuccessful, the band split in August 1978.

Jackson and Mangion joined the 'Chris Turner Band' and Maslin joined Adelaide's 'Fat Lip'.

Maslin died as a result of an asthma attack in 1988.

The Little Roosters were formed late '78 by Gary Lammin, shortly after the break-up of his first group, Cock Sparrer. They rehearsed around Romford and Hornchurch for a few months before making their live debut at the legendary Bridge House Pub, Canning Town in Feb'79. Early devotees on the original Mod '79 scene championed them due to their 60’s style garage/guitar based R&B + Gary’s cheeky cockney charm was very reminiscent of the Small Faces' Steve Marriott.
After reports that "Going Round "was to be their debut 45, the bands first single ‘She Cat Sister Floozie’ came out in Nov 79 [Record of the week by Radio 1’s Mike Read] Sales were poor; by the end of the year John Hunt had been replaced By Steve Burgess & by early '80 Graeme Potter had left to join The Spectres leaving the drum stool for Steve Bruce to fill. In March the band released their second 45, a cover of the Otis Redding classic ‘That’s How Strong My Love Is’ [Again record of the week by Mike Read] It was sometime after this 45 that Gary Eve introduced Alison Moyet to Garrie Lammin (apparently so enamored with her voice that he planned at some point not to just have her as a guest vocalist but to have her take over the lead vocal). Basildon Girl, Alison toured all over Britain and Europe with the Roosters, it was actually while she was on stage with the Roosters (At The Bridgehouse) that Vince Clarke saw her and approached her to join a project he was putting together called Yazoo.
Their 3rd 45 [I Need A Witness] & debut album were Produced by Clash front man Joe Strummer [he also played piano for the sessions] This saw them get a TV appearance on‘Get It Together’ an early evening pop show at the time. Their 4th 45 [People Break Down] & the LP were France only releases possibly signing the death knoll for this line up as Bruce & Burgess left to reform Cock Sparrer leaving the others to carry on until sometime in '83.
Another change in style came in '85, with the album Shake It Down, released under the name Garrie And The Roosters, featuring performances from members of The Inmates and Big Heat along with drumming and production credits going to Jon 'Eddie' Edwards from The Vibrators. In '86 Gary decided to quit the music career & focus on his acting career. earning big screen action parts in The Informant, The Calcium Kid and Riff Raff along with numerous roles on TV including parts in Eastenders, and Auf Wiedersen Pet.

Since the turn of the millennium, Lammin has become more focussed on music again, with The Zen Buddah Boot Boys and The Bermondsey Joyriders being his latest projects, seeing him work with Producer Dave Goodman and Martin Stacy of Chelsea.

Their first recording dates from June 1979 and was a track "Sooner or Later" on the Merseyside independant label Skeleton Records 7" EP compilation Blank Tapes Vol. 1 [SKL 002 Released 14-12-1979] Produced by John Brierley owner and manager of the Cargo Studios in Rochdale  (NB - If you follow the link, have a look at the Studio Planners)

After the demise of the band in 1981, Colin Miller (Voc, Guitar), Paul Bedford (Bass) & John Roberts (Drums) went on to form The Rhythm Squad.

Morrisons’ greatest contribution was as a Producer and his [8 Track] Studio, Stiwdio Les, on Bethesda High Street, was an important landmark in the Welsh Language Scene throughout the ’90s. He recorded an array of bands there as well as producing many others at the Sain Studios at Llandwrog and Recordiau Fflach in Cardigan.
Morrison went on to spend many years working for the Super Furry Animals as a guitar and sound technician and toured extensively with them throughout Europe, America, Australia and Japan.
On the day of his death (29-04-2011) Gruff Rhys wrote on his blog:
“He was a tireless friend and mentor to countless musicians and producers not only in Bethesda and Wales, but with his exemplary social skills and unflinching spirit of adventure, he befriended and touched people’s hearts the world over.”

*Painted Lady [1975-78]
Conceived as a pub covers band, school friends from Wandsworth, South London, Kim McAuliffe (Voc, Rhythm Guitar) and Dinah Enid Williams (Voc, Bass) together with Deirdre Cartwright (Lead Guitar) & Tina Gayle (Drums) formed an all-girl group. Val Lloyd replaced Gayle on drums and they started playing the local pub scene. When Cartwright left in late '77 her place was briefly taken by visiting American Kathy Valentine, who answered an ad in the back pages of "Melody Maker" When Valentine returned to the United States in 1978 [forming the Textones and later joining The Go-Go's] Painted Lady broke up.
McAuliffe and Williams still wanting to pursue a musical career recruited Kelly Johnson (lead guitar) and Denise Dufort (Drums) & in April 1978 the new line-up changed their name to Girlschool [taken from the B-side of the 1977 Paul McCartney & Wings 45 "Mull of Kintyre"]

Useless Info 2 - Towards the end of TdeF's tenure Deirdre Cartwright was also playing with the Jazz/Latin group The Guest Stars & it was one lunchtime In 1983, busking be-bop tunes in Covent Garden with two other "Guest Stars" that Deirdre was spotted by producer Chris Lent who offered her the job of guitar presenter on the BBC's ground-breaking show Rockschool. The two series of BBC TVs Rockschool attracted audiences of 2 million viewers every week in the UK and were subsequently shown worldwide.

Aparently they called it a day just before an organized nationwide tour was about to begin.

The 45 was released on Festival subsidiary Infinity with Festival house producer Martin Erdman sat behind the desk.

In 1981, 4 friends from Union and Newark, New Jersey got together to make a record. They commited to tape "Thursday" and "Was It Real" at Century Sound Studios in Sayreville, N.J.

Their Sole 45 was Produced by Paul (Plonka) Christopher and Engineered by Sam DeSalvo. It was Mastered by Bob Speiden, in North Plainfield.

The Picture Sleeve was designed by local DJ and "Power House" Tattoo artist, Diane Farris.

After it's release, the Ways played live shows for about 6 months before calling it a day.

From the Ashes of "High School Friends" Punk Band "Dentists" (1976-79)[Members being : François Albertini (V), Jean-Marc Seni (G),Pierre Nègre (G), Frank Durban (B), Philippe Lejeune (D)] arose Les Playboys (1980 -) with their particular brand of 60's Garage Rock.

As they are still playing, I'll leave it to you to read about them but...

Useless info 1 - They used to have a group of 8 "60's Go-Go Girls" called "Ginettes" (Chicks in English) backing them on stage

Uselss Info 2 - François Albertini once stood in for Vocal duties at a Fleshtones Gig as Peter Zaremba
was stuck in Mexico due to an airline strike.
