instrumental that could have been written by The Allman Brothers or some
other 70's Country Rock Band.

ReplyDeleteHi music lovers, I've just come across this post about Tezer and feel the need to put something about it right ( even though it's not really that important!) All those years ago in 1980 I was the Bassist in the band with Jezz Olding on Drums. We recorded the tracks 'On The Run' and 'Helen' at a house on Faversham Road, Kennington, not too far from where Pat lived. I seem to remember the owner of the studio being called John Edmed. We played many gigs around the Medway towns in particular, playing a mixture of 'Rock'n' Roll' and 'Pop' from the 50s 60s and 70s. Mainly playing at workingmens clubs. It was my apprenticeship to going onto a long career in music.
ReplyDeleteHi Jason, Thanks for the extra info, it's much appreciated
ReplyDeleteIt's my pleasure. How did you even come across this record? If my memory serves me well, we self financed the recording and had 500 records pressed. We would sell them at gigs.
