Just another site that's giving you hard to find music

A Place To Find Some Rarer Tunes (Mod, PowerPop, Punk, Ska) ripped from my vinyl collection. If it sounds good I'll post it. The idea being that now you know about them, you can seek them out! If anyone is unhappy about any of these posts please contact me & I will take them off.

Exposed - Liberty For All EP (1980)

Double A side

1. Plastic America
2. You

Nice double sider from this South London (maybe Surrey) based band (You being my favourite of the 2)

The band were

Kevin White (voc guitar synth)*
Scott Moorehead (bass)
Steve Wright (drums)
Kevin O'Rearden (keyboards)
with Helen helping on backing vocals.

*anyone know if this is the same Kevin White that later played with General Public

  1. I don't think this is the General Public bloke. This Kevin White is him wot does this:

That Jane Rolink used to do press for Some Bizarre, you know. I still have some of her press-releases, probably, but I've never heard a Mrs. Wood record ('hardbag'?? wot be that??).

  2. hardbag = cheesy techno (with added 303) for the weekend clubbers to get happy to! (handbag but harder)

  3. 303? That's jeans, isn't it? So it's disco for clubs where there's not a 'casual but smart' dress restriction?
